REBELS
This new single is a hard-hitting commentary on social and political issues, blending thought-provoking lyrics with the group's signature sound.
"Rebels" explores themes of societal unrest, media manipulation, and personal awakening. The chorus, which repeats the phrase "Angels overhead, Devils on the ground, Rebels all around" sets the tone for a song that challenges listeners to question their surroundings and think critically about the world they inhabit.
The verses delve into topics such as environmental decay, loss of trust, and the importance of staying true to oneself in the face of adversity. With lines urging listeners to "Keep your third eye open" and "Look at the elephant in the room" Rootwords & The Block Notes encourage their audience to see beyond surface-level distractions and confront uncomfortable truths.
"Rebels" was recorded and mixed by Germain Aubert at Black Bear Studio and mastered by Lorenzo Bassaletti at Globe Audio Mastering.
